SV	Want hij wandelde in den weg der koningen van Israel; ja, hij deed ook zijn zoon door het vuur gaan, naar de gruwelen der heidenen, die de HEERE voor de kinderen Israels verdreven had.
WLC	וַיֵּ֕לֶךְ בְּדֶ֖רֶךְ מַלְכֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְגַ֤ם אֶת־בְּנֹו֙ הֶעֱבִ֣יר בָּאֵ֔שׁ כְּתֹֽעֲבֹות֙ הַגֹּויִ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֨ר הֹורִ֤ישׁ יְהוָה֙ אֹתָ֔ם מִפְּנֵ֖י בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
Trans.	wayyēleḵə bəḏereḵə maləḵê yiśərā’ēl wəḡam ’eṯ-bənwō he‘ĕḇîr bā’ēš kəṯō‘ăḇwōṯ hagwōyim ’ăšer hwōrîš JHWH ’ōṯām mipənê bənê yiśərā’ēl:

AC	ג וילך בדרך מלכי ישראל וגם את בנו העביר באש כתעבות הגוים אשר הוריש יהוה אתם מפני בני ישראל
ASV	But he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, yea, and made his son to pass through the fire, according to the abominations of the nations, whom Jehovah cast out from before the children of Israel.
BE	But he went in the ways of the kings of Israel, and even made his son go through the fire, copying the disgusting ways of the nations whom the Lord had sent out of the land before the children of Israel.
Darby	but walked in the way of the kings of Israel, and even caused his son to pass through the fire, according to the abominations of the nations that Jehovah had dispossessed from before the children of Israel.

Sch	Denn er wandelte auf dem Wege der Könige von Israel; dazu ließ er seinen Sohn durchs Feuer gehen nach den Greueln der Heiden, die der HERR vor den Kindern Israel vertrieben hatte.
